Projectile Motion!
Projectile Motion: A trajectory is the path a moving object follows through space as a function of time.
When a pitcher is pitching the place where he releases it is the way the ball is going to go down the plate. Also the place where the ball is released is the balls projectile motion. If the ball is released at a higher angle the ball will go a shorter distance and go lower to the ground when it reaches the catcher or the batters bat.
To improve on the way the ball goes down the plate is having the right angle as the pitcher releases the ball. The best angle to release the ball at is 45 degrees.
